IT'S A BOY!!!!

I had an ultrasound this morning and although I'm only 15 1/2 weeks along, they were able to see a little somethin'-somethin' between the baby's legs. We are THRILLED. I knew from the very beginning that it was going to be a boy and sure enough. We already have a name picked out for the little guy, but we may keep that a secret for a while :)

The baby is doing great and growing well, but I have been warned that the baby will come early - how early, we don't know, but they won't let me go past 36 weeks. We are just hoping we make it that far!!!

Farm Visit

Angie and Amelia go to a farm each week to get raw milk (cow and goat). Since their first visit, Amelia has loved to play with the baby goats. This time, though, the goats have grown old enough to have teeth and they bowled her over and bit her on the chin. Wasn't such a fun trip for her this time.

Reminiscing...

For the last few weeks I have been AMAZED by how fast Amelia is learning and it got me thinking about how far she has come since her time in the NICU. I looked through some old pictures and videos and was brought to tears thinking about what she went through, but so grateful that she is 100% healthy and happy. She is saying new words everyday and surprising me with how much she understands. She repeats every word I say and remembers it the next time she sees or hears it. She's becoming a little girl instead of a baby and it is so fun to watch. We have a blast together and are enjoying every moment.

About Me

My photo
Angie moved to Palo Alto, CA in 2001 to get her Masters degree in Chemistry at Stanford. Matt got his MBA at BYU and started a job at The GAP in San Fransisco in 2002. We met in the Stanford singles ward and were married in the SLC Temple in 2003. Our little Amelia was born prematurely in August 2006 weighing 1lb 15oz. She is still small for her age, but perfectly healthy. Baby Chase was born 7 weeks early in September, but is now home and growing like a...baby. Matt took a job at Nike in Portland, OR in April 2008 so here we are.
