New Temporary Condo

We had to move to a different temporary place to spend the remaining 5 weeks until our house is done. We are staying in a condo in the heart of the city and we are loving it! It reminds me of our apartment in California where we could walk everywhere. We can walk to all sorts of shopping and dining spots and even more importantly, we are only a block away from the most amazing park in all of Portland - we go there everyday. It has a wonderful play area where Amelia goes nutso over the sand, swings and slides, it houses the Oregon Zoo and a great Children's Museum - all of which Amelia LOVES. So we are rarely bored and always have plenty to do (that is, if I can get Amelia to put some clothes on and go outside!! It's the biggest struggle of my day - she wants to be naked ALL the time!)

Looking at the sea otters at the Zoo - she kept saying "whoa!"

Playing in the sand - she was in heaven!

Amelia loves this big swing

Fell asleep on a morning walk downtown
Teeter-totter with mom - I liked it more than she did!

Playing the water fountain at the park - we hoped the water wasn't too nasty...
There are no baths in our new place so we had to improvise - Amelia doesn't seem to mind

I can't get over how cute Amelia is. I can't wait to hear about her as a big sister. BTW- I LOVE the pig-tails!

I love the pigtails, too! How fun to temporarily live in an area where there is so much to do! Enjoy that adorable little Amelia while you only have her to watch. Life gets pretty crazy when the second one comes...LOL

About Me

My photo
Angie moved to Palo Alto, CA in 2001 to get her Masters degree in Chemistry at Stanford. Matt got his MBA at BYU and started a job at The GAP in San Fransisco in 2002. We met in the Stanford singles ward and were married in the SLC Temple in 2003. Our little Amelia was born prematurely in August 2006 weighing 1lb 15oz. She is still small for her age, but perfectly healthy. Baby Chase was born 7 weeks early in September, but is now home and growing like a...baby. Matt took a job at Nike in Portland, OR in April 2008 so here we are.
