We are only the 3rd family to move into a neighborhood that will eventually have hundreds of homes and an elementary/middle school, so there is a lot of construction noise going on around us. It's been an adjustment since I can no longer take naps with all the sawing and hammering going on, but luckily Amelia can sleep just fine. I can't complain, though, because I love our house and love the neighborhood and love that the Portland weather is finally acting like summer :)
I only took a few pics before all the movers cluttered things up, so I'll post more pictures of the upstairs, etc. once we are a bit more settled.

I love the kitchen! I kinda wish we had stainless steel, although, I love our kitchen, too.

Wow! Beautiful house, congratulations. Yes, the kitchen is awesome. I also like the built-in bookcases.
Love it, though you should have bought a 60 year old house; it's much more exciting to guess what will break next. : )
It's beautiful! Congratulations! What an exciting year it's turning out to be!
What a big and beautiful home!! I love the wood floors in the kitchen, the stainless steel appliances? Wow! And your built-ins, I can't believe how nice it all is! Good for you, you deserve it, especially after years of apartment living.
I'm sure you will love the community.
Angie, it's HUGE!!! I keep looking at the picture of your house trying to figure out how many of my houses would fit in it. Love the kitchen, love the garage, love the built ins, love it!! I hope you are enjoying it! Miss you!
